To achieve this, we have developed a number of close relationships with local firms, trusted suppliers, and regulated professionals, who are able to look out for the health and safety of your site and protect your liability. We arrange for developments to be regularly inspected, maintained & repaired, to the required standards in accordance with the lease and transfer documents.

Cyclical maintenance must be implemented at the required times to meet current regulations which requires specialist property and facilities management. Assessment of any necessary work or repairs may require inspection and professional expertise. Monitoring and approving the finished job may demand a qualified surveyor and as members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, we have the expertise to deliver quality, cost-effective building solutions.

Whilst Watsons have a professional building services team, our role is to support project management and work with contractors and local tradespeople. 

Watsons have a network of approved contractors who can provide comparison quotations to offer you a more cost-effective service and more importantly have proven ability to provide quality works that will stand the test of time and enhance the look of your building. We do not always advise you to choose the most cost-effective supplier, it’s about deciding which company will do the best job for you.

Leaking pipe? Broken window? Lights out?

We offer an online portal for our Residents, so if they find any repairs & maintenance issues occur within their home or any communal areas of the building, it can be reported and one of our team will be notified.

We ask that they include as much detail as they can, and include any photographs that they’ve taken too. This allows us to select the right contractor for the problem, and will also allow contractors to view the problem prior to attending the site. 

Also, if the development pays for our Watsons Out-of-Hours Service, and they have an emergency and need to speak to someone outside of our normal office hours, they are able to call our Out-of-Hours Service for any repairs & maintenance.
